Our 2019 cruise season is under way!
Our 2018 Cruise Season
2018 was a record year with 24 cruise ships, 2019 will break that record with 27 ships scheduled to berth at our jetty. Orthios already has more than this number of vessels booked for the 2020 season, and we expect this number to grow substantially.
Orthios is committed to providing the local community with employment opportunities wherever possible. In support of this, Orthios engaged with a local company, MônCF, to provide skilled staff to support the high level of jetty activity during the 2018 cruise season. This was extremely successful and so we have re-engaged for the 2019 cruise season.
We are delighted to have taken part in the partnership between the Isle of Anglesey County Council, Welsh Government, Stena Line and other regional partners to attract more cruise liners to the region.
