In October 2017 the cable installation vessel CS Recorder berthed at our Holyhead jetty for the third time during the month. This marks a busy year for commercial vessels utilising our jetty facilities for remobilisation activity.  During the last 12 months 18 commercial vessels have berthed at our jetty, including the off-shore tug supply ship Sea Titus. This is in addition to a record number of cruise ships visiting our jetty.

At present we’re currently removing end of life buildings and preparing the jetty for future activities, in what has been the most extensive works to be undertaken on the jetty in nearly 40 years. During this period of works the jetty continues to be open to vessels.

Our jetty is a 24-hour, deep water, lock-free facility, located on the Irish Sea coast, and within easy reach of several major cities in the UK and Ireland.  Vessels of up to 300 metres can be accommodated and our staff are experienced in jetty operations, including safety management and customer service.  Further information on our jetty can be found on our website at: http://www.orthios.com/index.php/orthios-jetty-holyhead
